Michigan issues a recall for some cannabis products

Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has issued a recall for a number of cannabis products, sold up there by a company called Choice Labs, LLC. The recall has been issued because the products (which all fall under the brand called Mary’s, and include some patches and tinctures — no flower or oils) dodged some required laboratory testing. If you have any of the affected products, you’re advised to return them to the provisioning center where you found them.

Unfortunately, as the cannabis industry grows and changes so quickly, there will undoubtedly be some products that don’t quite follow the regulations as listed. Fortunately, this error was caught, and hopefully these materials will be returned as tested as necessary. Hopefully, as the industry becomes more standardized, product producers will avoid these types of problems in the future.
