What's Good on Weed This Weekend: Queer Eye, Fred Armisen's Standup for Drummers
It's the weekend once again! Here's a few quick recommendations for things to see and do this weekend while you're lighting up.
At the movies, we're deep in the doldrums of February, but since Valentine's Day is coming up this week, Fifty Shades Freed is out. All of the reviews so far say that it's terrible, but there's not much else to see. Paddington 2 or Jumanji might be worth a look if you haven't seen those yet.
On streaming, the grass is a little greener. David Letterman's second interview special has just come to Netflix, and the subject is George Clooney, so if you're interested in hearing what he has to say, you can give that a watch (it might not be so great while high, though). Queer Eye is also out -- it's a reboot of the Bravo series that's supposed to be a fun (and even emotional) watch. And Fred Armisen's special arrived this week as well: It's called Standup for Drummers. Honestly, while the other two shows might be good to watch, Fred's show is probably the best while under the influence, we'd imagine.
The gaming world is also pretty quiet this week -- Celeste is a great title to check out on the Switch, or you could just jump into your backlog this weekend. Everybody's got one!
And as mentioned, this week Valentine's Day falls on Wednesday, so if you're in a relationship, perhaps your time this weekend would be better spent planning out something fun to do with your SO (it could be fun to make a dispensary stop and put together a little cannabis gift basket you can both enjoy!). Alternately, if you're as single as we are, you could find a great pizza place, and order up a pizza paired with a strain of your choice? Your call, of course.
At any rate, have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see you back here next week.
