New Hampshire House votes in favor of possession and cultivation
The hits just keep on coming for Jeff Sessions. Not a week after that idiot reversed the Cole Memo and put the entire cannabis industry at legal risk for no good reason, another state house has decided that marijuana possession and cultivation is A-OK in their state. Vermont did it last week, and now New Hampshire has also agreed to send a bill to the Senate that would allow up to 3/4 of an ounce of marijuana in possession and 3 mature plants for adults age 21 and over.
Of course, that's not much, but it's something, and at minimum, it's a message to the federal government that the will of the people (who are overwhelmingly in favor of lifting prohibition) will be heard. The New Hampshire bill next heads to the Senate, where it will likely be studied and considered before moving on, but the message is out there: Back off, Jeff Sessions. The states are ready to go to bat for the people, even if the federal government fails them.
