"Sorry bro," leave the cannabis at home for Coachella

As we've pointed out plenty, recreational cannabis is now legal in California, but it's still not welcome at one of the biggest concerts in the country, apparently. Coachella has announced that while weed may be legal in the state, it's not welcome on the concert grounds. With a post that begins "sorry bro," the organizers say that marijuana and related products, like hula hoops, air horns, and selfie sticks, won't be allowed in the festival for 2018 or the foreseeable future.

Bummer, but their house, their rules. That said, you'd be crazy to think that there won't be drugs at Coachella -- official policy or not, it's a music festival, and it's hard to believe that someone won't have some edibles or a discreet vape around. For now, however, the organizers are keeping it up as grounds for exclusion, so if you're headed to Indio this year, watch your back.
