Cannabis podcaster offering scholarships to study the sticky

The hosted behind the Boulder, CO-based podcast called CannaInsider has announced a new program designed to help out budding entrepreneurs interested in the cannabis industry. The CannaInsider Cannabis Education Scholarship is offering up to $3000 to students who are interested in the industry and studying up on it. CannaInsider founder Matthew Kind says he's looking to shake up both the education industry and what younger people are looking to get out of it by providing this money to someone who can make good use of it.

The scholarship form is pretty simple (the biggest requirement is a 500 word essay), so if you have an interest in the industry (or know someone who does), it definitely seems worth a try. Kind says that it could be an ongoing program, but that's all dependent on the success of the first round of recipients. There's definitely big business to be done in cannabis, and it would be great to see entrepreneurs entering the field who have done their studying and their homework. Hopefully this money can find its way to the right people, and give them an important leg up in figuring out their education and their future in the industry.
