Dispensary Spotlight: Captain Jack's in Upland, CA
Every Monday here on ES, we choose a great dispensary to spotlight. There are people working hard in states all across the US to make cannabis available to patients and consumers, and this column will highlight the great work of one excellent dispensary each week. Whether this is your home base or a future travel destination, we're here to compliment and highlight the best in dispensary experiences.
This week we're focusing on a one-of-a-kind dispensary in Upland, California called Captain Jack's. Before we get into what's really special about Captain Jack's, the usual features do apply. They've got a great selection of all kinds of different products, from some excellent flower and extracts to lots of different edibles, tinctures, and sprays. The customer service is great, they've got plenty of ongoing deals and specials, and the whole place is full of fun things to smell and buy, but still very well organized.
All of that is very special, but what's really great about Captain Jack's is that in addition to the dispensary, they also offer a one-of-a-kind dab bar and patio. After you purchase your product (and maybe grab a dab token from a daily or weekly special), you can head out to the open area where you can dab up right there on the premises, and hang out to watch a movie, meet other patients, or just chill and relax.
Other states and groups are trying to put marijuana lounges in place, and while that's not quite what's happening here, it's close: Captain Jack's offers a fun and chill place to hang out and not just buy some weed but sit down and enjoy it as well. In the past, you'd have to go halfway around the world to find something like that, but Captain Jack's offers it right here in California's Inland Empire.
And the budtenders are super nice as well (not to mention that there's an In and Out Burger right down the street, and that makes anywhere better). Captain Jack's is well worth a visit or even a whole trip, and we're happy to shine the dispensary spotlight on them this week.
