Las Vegas opens up a drive-thru weed shop

The Nuwu Cannabis Marketplace is a brand new dispensary in Las Vegas (owned by the local Las Vegas Paiute Tribe) that boasts a drive through lane. The dispensary itself is already impressive, providing flower, edibles, and concentrates across 16,000 square feet, but the drive through is a helpful way to access all of that product. About 300 cars are already heading through the drive through lane daily, according to the Las Vegas Sun.

The drive through, say the owners, is meant for elderly and infirm customers, who would rather just pick up their medicine from the car instead of having to park and come into the shop. The goal is to get customers through in just a minute. You don't have to be elderly to use it, though -- it's definitely a nice stop on the way off to Taco Bell or, you know, wherever you happen to be going next. Actually, the dispensary looks really rad in the pictures on its website, so maybe it is worth a stop-in after all.

The Cannabist adds that there is a working marijuana drive through in Sun City, Arizona, just a few hours south of Vegas, but that one only serves medicinal weed, while Las Vegas allows recreational sales. There's another dispensary drive-thru in Parachute, Colorado, but that one features a drive-in area, with closing garage doors. Nuwu truly is one-of-a-kind as a weed drive-thru -- so far.
